The latest case is of upgraded middle school Lagma of Tardih block in Darbhanga district. Where student Soni Kumari, who was appearing in the 9th class monthly examination conducted in the school, fainted in her classroom itself.
The teachers hurriedly lit a fire in the school premises and massaged the student with oil all over her body and after some time she regained consciousness. Only then did the teachers heave a sigh of relief. At the same time, Juhi Kumari, a student of class seven of Malakauli Patkhauli Upgraded Middle School of the same block, fainted. As soon as the student became unconscious, there was chaos in the school premises. The family members arrived on the information received by the school principal and took the student home with them.
According to the information, a student appearing for the monthly examination of class 9th in the upgraded high school located in Lagma village of Tardih block suddenly became unconscious. This information created an atmosphere of chaos in the entire school. The teachers all left their classes and started serving that girl Soni Kumari. The head teacher immediately informed the girl’s family. The family members who reached the spot also roasted the girl with the burning fire and took her home when she regained consciousness.
It is said that Soni Kumari, a class 9 student of Navtolia Yadav Tola of Lagma village, was giving monthly examination in her room. During this time she suddenly fell unconscious. Seeing this, the teacher taking the exam in the class immediately informed the school principal and made immediate arrangements to light a bonfire in the school premises and asked the female teachers to massage the student. After some time the girl regained consciousness and went home with her family.
According to the information, a severe cold wave is going on in the district. But all the private government schools in the district are open. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the wave will continue for a few more days. But neither the District DM nor the District Education Officer seems to be having any effect on all this. In this regard, District Education Officer Samar Bahadur Singh said that the school has been opened on the instructions of the Additional Chief Secretary.
